This beautiful, sky-blue beach cottage at Moore’s Lakeside Resort features three bedrooms and two baths for comfortable accommodation of seven fun-loving guests. The home’s main level holds all of the shared living spaces — an open living room, dining room and full kitchen gathered together for convenience and easy socialization and filled with natural light from wall-to-wall picture windows on the lake-facing side.
The view from the house includes a manicured lawn, cultivated flower gardens, a stretch of sandy beach and clear blue sky and water on majestic Lake Huron (water levels may be higher or lower than shown). This home is brand-new in 2018.
Sleeping arrangements: Three private bedrooms are equipped with a queen-sized bed each. Upper level loft rooms have a view of the lake.
This lake cottage is all pastels and clean lines for a truly restful waterfront getaway. The sandy beach is just steps from the front door, and the water is clear and great for swimming. A private deck on the front of the house enjoys a clear view as well as easy access to the kitchen for snacks. Off-street parking is provided.
This lakefront home is part of the close-knit community of Au Gres, settled between Lake Huron and the Au Gres River. Downtown Au Gres has a quaint historic charm and plenty of unique shops, quality restaurants, wineries and pubs. The location is ideal for fisherman, who can try their luck from a dock or riverbank or hire a charter fishing boat to help them catch a fish to write home about. Popular catches include walleye, bass and record-setting perch.
This lazy vacation spot is attractive to tourists year-round, with seasonal favorites such as the walleye tournament, the Venetian Festival and the lighted boat parade. There are also three scenic 18-hole golf courses within just ten minutes of Au Gres, and a dinner cruise and casino within 15 minutes. Walking the lake shore is a beautiful pastime in any season, and the region is home to a number of National Parks and other natural features. Big Charity Island is fun to explore, especially if you are hoping to see wildlife. Visitors may also be interested in the Arenac County Historical Society Museum, with artifacts dating back to the 1800s.
