One of the advantages of our resort is that we are open year-round. Experience winter fun at the Fought’s Resort! There are two downhill ski venues nearby, hundreds of miles of cross country ski trails, around 200 miles of snowmobile trails, snowshoeing adventures and ice fishing. Ask us about Tip Up Town!

Fall color tours here are amazing. During the summer enjoy canoeing, kayaking, tubing, boating, fishing, sunbathing, hiking and more! The lake has a variety of fish species like the Lake Trout, Perch, Crappie, Large & Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike Rainbow Trout Bluegill, etc…Fishing and ice fishing are both popular activities around here! We absolutely loved our vacation at Foughts Resort in July and are really looking forward to it again this year. We stayed in Cabin 6 - beautiful setting right on the water - clean cabin and had all the amenities we needed! We would highly recommend staying at Fought's Resort!! Don, Laura & Ryan Northouse
Went ice fishing all weekend had a comfy stay with my dog and caught some nice fish launching out and walking from this side of Houghton Lake also met some great friends from this that I'll continue to fish with for along time I'll definitely be returning. Jason Bow
