Kayaks, canoes, 14 foot boat with oars, SUP’s, 2 huge lakefront fire pits (you supply the stories about the "one that got away”), 3 docks, resort recreation center (the new ACE's Perch recreational building), and much more.
Families with small children always tell us how they love the sand bottom lake and shallow shore in front of the resort. The playground has lots of swings, slides and sand!

This is a family friendly resort, so bring your A-Game for some sibling rivalry; tether ball, volleyball, badminton, horseshoes. shuffleboard and basketball courts too. On-water and off-water resort activities are endless.
Since you book directly with us here at the Driftwood Resort, we can point out both fishing hotspots and off-resort entertainment options for all ages. Roscommon County has some of the finest canoeing, kayaking and tubing in the country. Locals tip: Float the Muskegon and the South Branch of the world famous AuSable River.
The Eagle Cabin at Driftwood Resort is a great base-camp for resort activities. The rec room has a pool table, darts and any game you can think of. Everything is right here - you almost don't want to leave to check out the rest of what Houghton Lake, MI has to offer.
Though the Eagle Cabin is seasonal, we have 5 lakefront log cabins that have fireplaces and are open year round. We bet you’ll find something to do like snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, ice skating or attend the famous winter festival - Tip Up Town USA.
