This lakefront authentic log cabin is popular, so inquire and book it early. Moose is an end-of-resort cabin (more private) cabin with uninterrupted lake views. Welcome to the Driftwood Resort! 3 docks, 2 large lakefront fire-pits overlooking 22,000 acre Houghton Lake - Michigan's largest inland lake. The resort lake frontage is perfect for small kids because of the sandy bottom and shallow water depth.
Inside the Moose Cottage is a refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishes and cookware. Just outside is the grill and picnic tables.
The new ACE's Perch recreational building is the heart of the resort. All cabin guests can enjoy ping-pong, air hockey, darts, board games, pool table, cards, cable TV. This is a great place for meetings, retreats, crafting classes, or private parties.
Odds are you’ll be outside playing various lawn games while the kids gather in the huge playground. Or playing in the water: Row boats, kayaks, SUPs, canoes are free. Beautiful family moments are waiting! Ask us about hosting weddings and reunions on our quiet North Shore of the lake.
The Moose Cabin has a wood burning fireplace (we supply the wood), so even the worst winter chill won’t keep you from visiting the Driftwood Resort. Go ice fishing, snowmobiling, hunting or attend the annual Tip-UP Town, USA winter festival - how about a family ski weekend.

We've stayed at Driftwood Resort the last 3 summers and love every minute of it. Great family place. The log cabins are cute, clean, well maintained. Can't wait to go back this summer! Sara Pelletier Reder
Easily accessible, the log cabin cottages are so clean, and yet have that vintage feel. The sunsets we witnessed every night were beautiful, after sitting around the campfire for hours nobody wanted to go to bed. Little sleep to be had, because there was too much fun to be had. Lynn K.
The view from the patio was so perfect and the swing added a nice touch. We will definitely go back. The owners are very nice and friendly.
