The Lookout is a three-bedroom unit just south of Frankfort and on the shores of Lake Michigan. This home is a short walk from the bluffs that overlook the lake with a beautiful view. There is also a set of stairs that takes you to the beach of Lake Michigan. The unit includes a deck for lounging and grilling out on summer evenings. Lookout is a great Northern Michigan escape for groups of friends and families.

A five-minute walk takes you down to the beach of Lake Michigan where the shores are naturally sandy, perfect for swimming and relaxing in the sun. The easy access to the beach makes this the perfect summer vacation spot where you can spend all day on the water or go into town for shopping, site seeing and other fun activities.
Betsie Valley trail is for non-motorized activities: walking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing. There are ATV trails and snowmobile trails in Benzie County. The winter snow draws people from all over to ski at the Crystal Mountain and ice fish on Crystal Lake.
The Lookout is located within Benzie County, which has many opportunities for outdoor recreational activities. The Champion Hill Golf Course is a scenic course located in the hills of the Benzie County highlands. The distant views of Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake are sure to make for a great golf experience. If you are into fishing, local Charters can take you out on Lake Michigan for salmon and trout fishing. The family-friendly company uses a hands-on approach for all skill levels of fisherman, making it a great activity for the whole family.
Benzie County also has plenty of fun shopping opportunities. With boutiques, markets, antique shops and more, the area is great to explore and discover unique local businesses. The Point Betsie Lighthouse is a great historical site to check out during your stay at the Lookout. Semi-guided and self-guided tours are available with a climb to the top of the lighthouse tower included.

Rates subject to change. We require a $375 refundable security deposit. This insures that the property is left in the same condition as when the tenant arrived. Going Up North Vacation Rentals has a 3-night minimum during the off-seasons. We will consider a partial week during the high season, but we don’t take reservations for partial weeks until the last week in June. If renter cancels and we are not able to fill that week, Going Up North Vacation Rentals keeps the ½ rental down payment.
