Inside and out, we offer clean, inviting, affordable lake lodging at off the water rates. Huge grass yard leads to the lakefront fire pit and beach area. The basketball court, volleyball court, beach area, horseshoe pit and swing-set are just some of the activities.
Deluxe Cottage has a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans, and dishes.
Sleeping arrangement: Queen and a full sized bed in the bedrooms plus a full sized pullout bed.
Marsee’s Landing is situated on Michigan’s Other Great Lake – Houghton Lake, in the North Bay. It is Michigan's largest inland lake covering 22,000 acres and filled with walleye, pike, bass and bluegill. Ask us about the Catch Us If You Can Fishing Contest ($250,000 and new Lund boat) That’s no small catch!
One of the most unique gift shops in the state is in Houghton Lake. The Rockin Chair Gift Shop has many designs on T-shirts and sweatshirts, moccasins, jewelry, and are famous for their fudge. See their big selection of Michigan books too. Look for other quaint villages, shops and antique wares as you wind your way through Roscommon County's gently rolling hills and valleys. Sightseeing is part of your unique adventure.
Ending each day at the lakeside fire pit is a special part of Cabin Time. Reconnect with family and friends and share some (not so truthful) fish-tales and browned-to-perfection marshmallows.
Ask us which nearby peaceful hiking trails amongst mature pine forest and lakes is right for you and your group. With so many hiking and biking trails, we will find a few options. One of our favorites is the Lost Twin Lakes Pathway because of its several bridges, including a covered bridge. Feel like wearing some mud? Venture out on hundreds of miles of the best ATV trails in the State of Michigan.
