Fishing, swimming, water skiing, and more! Bring your boat or grab one of our rowboats and oars. Getting on the lake has never been easier thanks to our level lakeside resort grounds. We have boat moorings and lots of dock space.
Refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans, and dishes. The charcoal grill will come in handy all week long.
Sleeping arrangement: Queen and a full sized bed in the bedrooms plus a full sized pullout bed.
Cottage 3 is part of our 7 cabin 1 home resort. So, if you need more space for larger groups, we are a great choice. Cottage 3 is the closest cottage to the lake so you can enjoy the lake panoramas from the front window.
All ages can stay and play at the resort. Basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe pit and a swing-set for the kids. The lakeside fire pit and beach area are for everyone. Making new friends at the resort is easy!
Kick back on the cool covered porch with swing, or catch some summer sun at the picnic table. The large grass yards are great for outdoor games. But it’s hard to ignore this lake if you are a fishermen. Houghton Lake offers great fishing possibilities for walleye, pike, bass and bluegill. You might even be lucky enough to catch Wally Walleye or Betty Bass - these tagged fish are waiting for you to catch them. If you do, you could be eligible to win $250,000.00 in cash and a brand new Lund Boat package. Even the blue gill, pike, bass, crappie and perch are tagged!
Nearby Amusement centers include bumper cars and miniature golf. Nearby AuSable State Forest includes nature and hiking/biking trails. So does South Higgins Lake State Park and Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve.
Things to remember: Your own bedding, towels, toiletries, and other personal items. Remember to send your inquiry early as prime summer weeks fill up very early!
